On March 21, Ukrainian and Russian Americans’ action group (including former Member of Ukrainian Parliament and former deputy chief of the Presidential Administration’s Humanitarian Office Liubov Stasiv, from New York; Co-Chair of the board of our Association and former director of Harvard’s Sakharov Program Tatiana Yankelevich, from Boston; former Co-Convenor of the National Democratic Ethnic Coordinating Council (NDECC) Alexandra Chalupa, from Washington DC; President of the International Indigenous Fund for Development & Solidarity ‘Batani’ and former Chair of the UN Working Group on Business & Human Rights Pavel Sulyandziga, from Brunswick, Maine; and others) met to strategize about our joint work to help Ukrainians facing the invasion, Ukrainian refugees, and Russian antiwar protesters.
