Whether it’s how to vote, the contents of a bill, or one’s own rights, accessible information is essential to inclusive democracy. Accessible information is not only a right but also ensures that all citizens can make informed decisions and participate in the decision-making processes that affect their lives. Democracy, human rights, and governance (DRG) organizations have a responsibility to advocate for and ensure accessible information in their programming. In this event, CEPPS explores what accessible information is, why it’s important, and how DRG organizations can better ensure that programming information is accessible.
