A subset of Democracy outlines that Elections are a constant cause for tension in West Africa. In preparation for the 2023 Nigerian election, the Nigerian Civil Society Situation Room (Situation Room) held a meeting in Abuja to discuss and review the threshold document in preparation. The meeting was organized to ensure a communal, inclusive and peaceful general election. The Situation Rooms consists of 70 CSOs which support and advocate for transparent elections.
