Our Chairperson, Dalia Ziada, recently took part in a Washington, D.C. conference organized by The Atlantic Council and Italy’s ISPI. The conference aimed to discuss the tensions and patterns of cooperation in the Eastern Mediterranean. During her intervention, Dalia focused on Egypt’s policy in the region and its impact on the geopolitics and geo-economics of the area. The complexities of Egypt’s domestic political repression and economic challenges were also discussed in relation to the Presidential Elections in Egypt and the Israel-Arab peace initiatives.
