The Open Data Charter’s work with Uruguay on open climate data dates back to the first implementation of the Open Data Guide for Climate Action, which was prepared together with the World Resources Institute (WRI), and with the support of the Inter-American Development Bank. (IDB). Uruguaywas, together with Chile, part of the pilot project for the implementation of the Beta version of the Guide, based on commitments assumed in its 4th National Open Government Action Plan, in collaboration with the Agency for Government Development Management Electronics and the Information and Knowledge Society (Agesic) and the National System of Response to Climate Change (SNRCC) of the Ministry of Environment.
