Jessica T. Mathews New Voices Conference

Rising great power tensions, the end of arms control, renewed proliferation risks, and the expansion of nuclear energy all underscore the urgency of this moment. Developing the new ideas, skills, and perspectives needed to manage nuclear dangers into the future requires engaging talented individuals from a variety of backgrounds and disciplines.

The Nuclear Policy Program at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace is pleased to be hosting its third Jessica T. Mathews New Voices conference on Thursday, July 8, 2026. The conference will be held in person at Carnegie’s headquarters in Washington, D.C., with the keynote available for registered participants online.
