As global political and economic dynamics continue to evolve, Africa’s role in shaping international affairs has become increasingly important. Yet discussions on the continent’s place in the world often proceed without a clear understanding of what African citizens themselves think about these developments.
Drawing on nationally representative survey data from 38 African countries, our third annual Flagship Report presents new evidence on citizens’ views on cross-border trade and economic integration, migration, Africa’s role and influence in global governance, and perceptions of the influence of major global powers on the continent. The report offers a timely, citizen-centred perspective to inform policy and dialogue on Africa’s engagement in an increasingly interconnected world.
