Our Coalition Host International IDEA has launched a call for panel proposals for the Global Conference on Electoral Foreign Information Manipulation and Interference (FIMI) and Democracy, taking place in Chișinău, Moldova, on 3-4 March 2027. The conference will bring together civil society, researchers, policymakers, and democratic institutions from around the world to share evidence, strategies, and solutions for strengthening democratic resilience against election-related information threats. Proposals are invited on four key themes: the enablers and incentives of FIMI, civil society accountability and advocacy, institutional and policy responses, and gender, equality, and inclusion. Organizations from across the globe, particularly those from the Global South and regions facing acute electoral risks, are encouraged to apply by 18 September 2026, with limited funding available for selected panels.
