The Open Government Partnership and the OECD are hosting a joint side event at the 2026 OECD Global Forum on Building Trust and Reinforcing Democracy on 12-13 October 2026 at the OECD Conference Centre in Paris: From Call to Action to Results: Sustaining Momentum for Open Government Reforms
Building on the Call to Action launched at the OGP@15 Leaders Roundtable during UNGA Week, this side event will focus on sustaining momentum and translating open government commitments into tangible results. It will bring together governments, civil society and international organisations to explore how to close the gap between promise and practice by better connecting existing efforts, addressing implementation barriers collectively, and sustaining progress across political and electoral cycles.
