After months of incubation, our Coalition Partner Nuru Trust Kenya’s Code for Democracy teams are unveiling their Minimum Viable Products (MVPs), bold civic-tech solutions reimagining democracy, governance, and peacebuilding in Africa.
Showcasing the MVPs:
- Wazi Data – simplifying complex government data for rural communities with offline USSD access.
- Amani360 – a PeaceTech hub using WhatsApp & SMS to promote dialogue and report community issues.
- KWELI – a citizen feedback platform holding local projects accountable through low-tech reporting.
- VoteWise Kenya – gamifying voter education with quizzes, challenges & rewards for civic engagement.
The Grand Hackathon is coming this 5th December, 2025! A hybrid event celebrating digital democracy and youth-led innovation.
