The conference will gather experts on combating Fake news and desinformation and Democracy practitioners to discuss deeper on how designed propaganda through Fake News and désinformation is restricting democratic values in Mali and in the Sahel Region with the Russian intervention in Mali, Burkina Faso. Civil society organizations will also be part of the conversation and together brainstorm on possible opportunities and solutions to consolidate democratic assets and promote it through its values based on freedom and individual liberties.
