This session, which takes place during the Summit for the Future, aims to explore how the lack of economic rights and the rise of inequality, contribute directly to the erosion of democratic institutions and norms. Through dialogue among key stakeholders—including former President and Prime Minister and civil society leaders—the session will identify actionable strategies to address the economic grievances at the heart of many current protests and explore policy frameworks that can promote economic justice while strengthening democratic governance.
