Afrobarometer, a leader in studying African citizens’ views on democracy and governance, is celebrating its 25th anniversary with a major report. This report dives into the evolution of democratic practices across the continent over the past two and a half decades. The report leverages data collected through Afrobarometer’s latest round of surveys conducted in 39 African countries, representing the voices of a vast majority of the continent’s population. To mark this milestone, Afrobarometer is hosting a special launch event. The event will feature a keynote address by a prominent economist and a panel discussion with leading African figures, including a mayor, an election expert, and a former election commissioner. The discussion will be moderated by a renowned journalist and scholar of African affairs.
