As we appreciate the continued stability and development within Kenya’s local, albeit fragile context, it becomes increasingly evident that fostering community resilience against poor leadership and governance is paramount. In light of this, there is a pressing need to bolster women-led initiatives aimed at amplifying their voices in the decision-making process. By ensuring their equal representation in the local leadership, particularly within the County assembly, we can pave the way for more inclusive and effective governance.
