In this webinar, Transparencia Electoral invited you to discuss how the illiberal influence of autocratic regimes affects Latin America. We explored how this influence materializes through sophisticated cooperation among interregional autocratic actors, designing strategies to influence various aspects of the public agenda with the aim of exacerbating the problems of open societies and reaffirming the nature of illiberal regimes. Through the presentations by María Virginia Marín and Armando Chaguaeda, we learned how this influence manifests itself in the informational and academic space of Latin America.
