Amid complex efforts to strengthen democracy for future generations, two things are clear: effective democracies must show they can deliver for their people, and data-powered technology is a critical component of our daily lives that is here to stay. In an era when the harms of unbridled tech often exacerbate global challenges, how can democracies harness digital tools to nurture resilience and merit greater trust in government?
Take part of a virtual discussion as part of Partners for Democracy Day. Drawing on examples of digital tools designed in the public interest from around the world, we explored the approaches of compelling solutions and spotlight the potential of digital public infrastructure and cross-sector collaboration.
