The meeting focused on the new Law on Youth and Intergenerational Justice being prepared by the Ministry. For these organizations, the aforementioned legislation must implement mechanisms to guarantee the rights of future generations.
The organizations presented the Principles for Defending the Rights of Future Generations to the Minister.
Greenpeace, Political Watch, Revo Sustainable Prosperity, and WEAll Iberia met today with the Minister of Youth and Children, Sira Rego, at Greenpeace headquarters. The objective of this meeting was to discuss the Youth and Intergenerational Justice Bill, which will address, among other key issues, the ecosocial crisis and the rights of future generations. The government plans to present it to the Congress of Deputies this year.
