Our Coalition Partner Kofi Annan Foundation has announced their 2026 Changemakers, an inspiring group of young leaders from across the globe who are working to address some of today’s most pressing challenges. We are especially proud to see Diana Ouma included in this year’s cohort, representing our Coalition Partner and co-host of the 2026 GDC Africa Forum, Youth for SDGs Kenya. Her selection reflects the important role young leaders continue to play in shaping more inclusive, responsive and resilient democracies.
The Changemakers initiative brings together emerging leaders and experienced global experts through an intergenerational dialogue, creating space for mutual learning, mentorship and collaboration. Over the course of a year, participants strengthen their leadership, engage with high-level networks, and receive support to advance impactful initiatives in their communities. As the programme continues to grow into a global network spanning dozens of countries, it highlights the power of investing not only in youth participation, but in youth leadership.
