This conference papers highlight how Asia and Europe can learn from each other’s experiences on crucial issues towards the advancement of the regionalization process in both regions. More specifically, the objectives of the summit are as follows: To draw lessons from the European responses to the economic crisis, refugee issue and terrorism, and how these impact on regional integration; To share relevant experiences from Asia on these issues and how they affect the regionalization process.
