Faine Misto and the Educationally-Analytical Center of Community Development present ‘Transformation’, a documentary charting the development of Ukrainian civil society from 2013 to 2022, and its resilience at this time of war. The documentary profiles the work of five civic organisations (all EED grantees) from Kyiv, Lviv, Odesa, Ivano-Frankivsk and Cherkasy, who have contributed to the transformation of the Ukrainian society since the Revolution of Dignity and continue to work today following Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine. The leaders of these organisations tell their personal stories of civil society’s strength, organisation, cohesion and courage, and relate the great strides made on Ukraine’s road to democracy, and the important role they will continue to play in Ukraine’s future reconstruction.
