In July 2016, The Experiment teamed with #TheFellowshipInitiative (TFI) to bring 110 low-income, promising young men of color from New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles to South Africa for the trip of a lifetime. With funding from JPMorgan Chase & Co., TFI is investing in these young men throughout their high school experiences, in order to help them get into college and capitalize upon their potential. In South Africa, the fellows learned to work together, discovered their personal leadership styles, and found a new appreciation for cultural differences.
