This report was carried out with the objective of carrying out an exhaustive analysis where the level and type of information published by the municipalities of the Valparaíso Region in the first months of the Covid-19 pandemic can be taken into account, assessing the effort to keep websites up to date. The observation time frame was from May 14 to June 19, 2020.
The methodology to carry out this analysis consisted of a review of the websites of the municipalities in the region. In this way, a classification and then a percentage of compliance with access to public information was carried out by establishing 7 measurement categories: health care information, information for those infected with Covid, special Covid communication line, general health recommendations. health, social networks as an active communication channel, dissemination of activities around Covid-19, information on remote or facilitated procedures.
