This comparative analysis of campaign finance regulation (CFR) in Nigeria, Moldova and Indonesia shows how conflicting political preferences towards alternative regulatory solutions have considerably undermined the achievement of CFR goals such as ensuring fair and equal conditions for political competition and participation.
