Power of Cinema Engages Youth in El Salvador on Human Rights

In San Salvador at Cinépolis, Galerías and in San Miguel at the University of Oriente (UNIVO), more than 200 youth attended the screening of films on migration, forced displacement, police abuse, and discrimination. After each viewing the youth talked about the films. The Dignity Rights Project organized the film festival to raising awareness about the problems currently faced by youth in El Salvador. Counterpart International, Partners El Salvador, and ConTextos, implement the project with the support of the USAID, and in with civil society organizations.
