PSSI Perspective #35: Europe Must Match American Legislative Momentum in Safeguarding Investors, Human Rights and International Security

This report urges the EU to be mindful of the human rights and national security dimensions of its capital markets. Highlighting the consequences of funding companies linked to forced labor, military aggression, etc, and how this serves to (unwittingly) support undemocratic regimes and actors, the report highlights recent legislative proposals in the US Congress which address these risks, encouraging Europe to take a similar approach.
