This document explains how the United States has a moral obligation to its Afghan allies. Furthermore, the conflicts of the future will be complicated political/military affairs with a critical need for interpreters by the U.S. military and diplomats. Both America’s credibility and ability to attract local allies in future conflicts are on the line.
