The 764 Network: A Global Threat for Child Abuse and Radicalization

There is an urgent concern among researchers and law enforcement about a youth network engaged in the large-scale targeting, abuse, and radicalization of children. Known most prominently as the “764 Network,” the term describes a transnational extremist network of abusers who seek to cause harm in exchange for social clout.

Victims are sought out on digital spaces popular with children and that allow for easy direct communication. This occurs on platforms like X, Telegram, Facebook, Snapchat, as well as children’s video games like Call of Duty, Minecraft, and Roblox. The only prerequisite is platform popularity and access to potential targets.
