On December 7th 2021, Center for International Media Assistance (CIMA) together with Global Forum for Media Development (GFMD) hosted a webinar, which discussed the common principles that need to be in place to strengthen international media assistance. The aim of this webinar was to provide civil society organisations a platform to discuss the key principles that need to be in place to guide states in their implementation of commitments made to protecting independent journalism during the Summit for Democracy and year of action.
