This is a post in the Blog: Voices of Decolonization and focuses on the author’s family’s experiences of historical violence from the side of perpetrators. In 2017, the author told his story under the title “I Have Good Work To Do”: Part 1 Wounded Knee, and Part 2 The TRC and REACH. He described his awakening to intergenerational trauma from the perpetrator’s side, and the beginning of my learning how to heal.
