This report was originally prepared in Japanese with the support of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation with the goal of fostering understanding of the Global Financial Facility among people involved in global health and developmental assistance in Japan. JCIE conducted over 40 interviews with experts and stakeholders, made site visits to Senegal and Indonesia, and carried out a literature review to provide a more comprehensive and nuanced picture of the GFF.
