On March 17, MHCR held the second event in our webinar series on “Understanding the Role of Trauma in Truth, Reconciliation, and Peacebuilding Processes”. During this event, we explored the impact and embodiment of trauma at the individual and collective levels within our society and heard insights from leading experts and practitioners within the fields of public health, neuroscience, social work, and transitional justice on how trauma-awareness in places of decision making, organizing, and community engagement can enhance the impact of social transformation efforts.
