World Water Day is an annual event held on March 22 that drives attention to the issue of safe water access. In anticipation of the new U.S. Government’s Global Water Strategy, the theme for the 2022 event was: “Water Water Everywhere: A Building Block for Global Security.” This event featured remarks from the four co-chairs of the bipartisan House International Water and Sanitation Caucus: Representative Earl Blumenauer, Representative Darin LaHood, representative Grace Meng, and Representative Jackie Walorski. This event was co-hosted by Global Health Council, IAPMO, InterAction, Millennium Water Alliance, UNICEF USA, WaterAid, World Vision, and World Wildlife Fund in with the House International Water and Sanitation Caucus.
