Within the framework of the Make a City 2023 Forum and Urban October and under the motto “The strength of the community is in action”, from the City Laboratory, we carry out citizen projects that promote reading in public spaces, in Santiago and Santa Rosa, Misiones. Both were participants in the first edition of the Experience your City Contest. During the meeting we presented to the community the “Childhood and Adolescent Friendly Municipalities” program of UNICEF Paraguay. “This project consists of promoting and supporting local governments so that they can prioritize children and adolescents in their cities, that is, that they can carry out plans and programs that can benefit them,” mentioned María Lilian Robledo, program coordinator. In addition, it seeks to distinguish the articulated efforts of the Municipality with public services, together with the support of organized civil society and the private sector, to progressively improve the conditions that allow children and adolescents a healthy life and their harmonious development.
